How to become JCECC Partnered Volunteers?

How to become JCECC Partnered Volunteers?

To support terminal illness patients is not the sole responsibility of professionals. Everyone can also support End-of-life care by becoming EoLC volunteers after systemic training. The four NGOs, including St Jame’s Settlement, Haven of Hope Christian Service, Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, S K H Holy Carpenter Church District Elderly Community Centre together with the University of Hong Kong dedicate to train up people who are willing to support patients with terminal illness and their families to become EoLC volunteers.

What JCECC Partnered Volunteers need to do?

JCECC Partnered Volunteers will join into the ICEST team of the partnered NGOs and work with professionals to provide different social and practical support to patients, for example home visit, out-patient and personal matter escort service and telephone calls.
